Callus Peel

Callus Peel

Dry, Cracked, Callus feet?

• Softens hard calluses quickly
• Scrape and file them away.
• Leaves clean and soft skin

A busy and active lifestyle can lead to a build up of hard skin and calluses on the foot, making this part of our body uncomfortable and unsightly. A special Callus Peel product will leave feet soft and feeling rejuvenated. The Callus Peel is applied to the problem areas, allowing calluses to be scraped away quickly. A four step system gives results that you can see right away!

The feet are patched and wrapped for 15 mins, and then the excess is peeled with a scrapper. The feet are then buffed with a file and finished with an intense moisture cream! The moisture cream is available to purchase for £8.50 per tube.
After the treatment we recommend that you moisturiser your feet twice daily! If you do not your feet may crack again due to lack of moisture!

Q & A...

Questions & Answers

1. How long does it take?
To treat both feet, it takes only approx 25 minutes - 15 minutes for the patches to soften the skin and 10 minutes for the rest of the treatment.

2. How often should I have a treatment?
It depends on your lifestyle and what type of shoes you wear but we recommend a treatment approx every 2-3 weeks, although results are seen after the first treatment. Callus Peel is a treatment and not a cure.

3. Is it safe?
Yes. Callus Peel use cosmetic ingredients only.

4. Is it hygienic?
Yes. Your Beauty Therapist is fully qualified and will know all the procedures for hygiene. The Callus Peel Skin Softener (sachets) are individually packaged. The scraper, that is used to remove the callus, will be sterilised and the Foot File too is sterilised and has replaceable pads.

5. Can it be used on other areas of the body?
No. The Callus Peel treatment must ONLY be used on the feet and must NOT be applied to areas where there isn't any callus.

6. What are the main ingredients?
Skin Softener: Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Carbomer, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid and Lactic Acid.

Moisture Cream: Aqua (Water), Glyceryl Stearate & PEG 100 Stearate, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Alcohol, Urea, Dimenthicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil and Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil (parfum or aroma). Don't be alarmed by these as we use AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) on our face!

7. Does the treatment hurt?
No, it doesn't hurt at all - on the contrary, It feels like you are receiving a pedicure/reflexology treatment. It will only hurt if you have cuts on your skin. Dry cracks are fine, as long as they are not weeping or bleeding!

8. Any side effects?
None, as Callus Peel is only for callused/or very dry areas on the feet.

9. Why do calluses appear?
Pressure applied to the feet over time causes the skin to harden and calluses to appear.

Contraindications that may restrict treatment -

Pregnant women

We recommend that Callus Peel is not used if a client is pregnant as the hormones of pregnant women tend to be imbalanced. We suggest that you book her in for fabulous treatment when she has the baby and everything has calmed down.

We recommend that you take care, as you must be aware of potentially serious skin problems related to the disease. Most people who suffer from Diabetes are on controlled drugs. We do recommend that you have a copy of the ingredients of the patches, which you may show to your GP, if you insist on having the Callus Peel treatment - we are careful not to over file the feet.
The ingredients of the Skin Soft Sachet and Moisture Creams are on our website.

Psoriasis -
If the area where the patch is to be applied is fine, then you can carry out the treatment.
